Lithuanian Business Support Agency (LBSA) invites to apply for the support under the 2007 – 2013 European Union Structural Fund instrument "E-business LT".

Investments to material and non-material assets, required for implementation of e-business project in micro, small and medium-sized companies, will be financed under this instrument.  E-business projects can be implemented only in those companies which carry out production and (or) services.

15,3 million Lt of 2007-2013 European Union Structural Funds are submitted for the third call of instrument "E-business LT". Applications may be submitted till 2011 10 October.

Applications under the instrument "Support for business creation and development" have been planned to collect from 01.08.2011 till 30.09.2011. The collection have been postponed, applications will be collected from 03.10.2011 till 30.11.2011.

Under previous implementation rules of instrument "Diversification to non-agricultural activities”, maximum amount of support per project could not exceed  1 726 400 Lt.

Since 02.05.2011 maximum amount of support per project is limited to 690 560 Lt.

Production and/or service companies, participating in international exhibitions, should pay an attention to the fact that the third call for proposals under one of the most popular instruments of support “New opportunities” have been announced.

By the funds of this instrument, pursuing up to 55% of project costs, may be financed:

• presentation of company and its products abroad in the international exhibitions, contacts, trade fairs, trade missions:

• exhibitor fee;
• travel and accommodation costs (up to 2 people);
• exhibition stand production or rental;
• exhibition stand space rental;
• exhibition furniture, equipment rental or purchase;
• exportation of exposition;

• preparation of marketing materials needed for presentation:

• leaflets;
• flyers;
• catalogs;
• tents;
• USB flash drives and others;

• certification of products that are planned to export.

Applications will be accepted until 31 January 2012. There are plans to allocate 50 million Lt of the European Union structural funds 2007-2013 for this application call. The call can be stopped if the requested sum of received applications 10% will exceed the sum specified  in the invitation.

On the 25 January 2011 funds of support for the year 2011 by the instruments of Lithuanian Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 have been approved by the Minister’s of Agriculture order No. 3D-37 :

• for the instrument’s "Modernization of agricultural holdings" second area  assigned 130 000 005 Lt;
• for the instrument “Increasing the economic value of forests” assigned 6 770 998 Lt;
• for the instrument  “Agricultural products processing and increasing the surplus value“ assigned 79 142 996 Lt;
• for the instrument "Diversification to non-agricultural activities” assigned 50 000 011 Lt;
• for the instrument “Support for business creation and development” assigned 40 000 011 Lt;
• for the instrument  “Promotion of rural tourism"  assigned 30 000 012 Lt.

Minister of Agriculture approved an application schedule for the year 2011  by Lithuanian Rural development programme 2007-2013.

•  applications under the instruments "Modernization of agricultural holdings” and “Increasing the economic value of forests” may be submitted from 01.03.2011  until 29.04.2011;
• applications under the instrument “Agricultural products processing and increasing the surplus value" may be submitted from 01.04.2011 until 29.04.2011 and from 01.07.2011 to 29.07.2011;
• applications under the instrument "Diversification to non-agricultural activity" may be submitted from 02.05.2011 to 30.12.2011;
• applications under the instrument "Support for business creation and development” may be submitted from 01.08.2011 until 30.09.2011;
• applications under the instrument “Promotion of rural tourism" may be submitted from 02.05.2011 until 31.08.2011.
